Victory Complex is what we are calling our exciting new facilities at Kairn Rd and Condon St, about 1km from the current College site in  Bendigo Victoria. The plan is to build a new school, administration wing (for both church and school) and a very modern 750 seat performing arts centre for the use of the local Bendigo community. Bendigo has a real need for a state of the art facility in this area as the largest purpose built theatre in the city only seats around 450 people. The double blessing of this great building will be that the church can also use it for its Sunday Worship Meetings.

The Complex will feature three other group meeting areas, all equipped with sound & multimedia. The school will have its own multimedia, music & drama room with full facilities that will seat around 70. The Space Kids (Children's Church) "Sky Lab" will be a purpose built and decorated worship facility for children, seating around 150. This will be great for use on Sundays for Children's Church and will be available to the community for children's conferences. Then we have the "Upper Room". As well as having balcony seating for the main auditorium, this great space can be separated off with removable walls and used for indoor sports, or set up as a 250 seat fully equipped auditorium.

The site will feature native trees and gardens, with magnificent strands of  Ironbarks preserved and adding their splendor, to give a feel of the National Park, that adjoins the site, reaching to the entry doors. Some of these trees pre-date European settlement of Australia and our buildings, roadways & car parks have been carefully designed to ensure these trees dominate the landscape for decades to come. Students have been collecting seeds form the property and propagating them for future planting on the site.

Exciting water conservation plans are in place to capture and hold storm water from the site and store it in underground tanks. This water will be used to keep our gardens and children's play areas green throughout the year. Grants have been sought to generate electricity through solar power and feed it back into the electricity grid, offsetting our electricity costs and building sustainability into the design. Students will be involved in an ongoing basis as they manage the environment of their school and learn about environmental sustainability.

To ensure limited disruption to the College, work on the school facility will take priority with students moving to the site during the 2009 school year.

Modular buildings are planned for the school and administration areas. These will be constructed by the local Bendigo company, Bendigo Relocatable Buildings. Talks have also taken place with local Bendigo builders and earthmoving contractors with great interest shown in this exciting project.

The plans include a major redesign of the Condon Street - Kairn Road intersection with turning lanes in both directions. Bus drop off zones are included within the car park with local authorities assuring us that both local & country busses will be able to drop children off "Right at the door".
The site known as Victory Complex will be the home of Victory Christian College, Victory Church - to be renamed Historymakers Church when the move to the new site happens. Also there will be Historymakers College, an adult education facility offering subjects from VET to degree level education. Victory Complex will also be home to the international mission of Historymakers caring for churches in Port Vila, Vanuatu & Calcutta, India as well as our orphanage in Koliphur, India and the "School of Hope" that is planned for Zambia.

The yet to be named performing arts centre will future a large stage and have full back stage facilities and a back stage loading dock. The ground floor will be on three levels keeping patrons close to the action on the stage. The upstairs balcony will have tiered seating to ensure all have clear lines of sight. As well as the ability to hold concerts & plays, this building will be a leading conference venue within the city. The ground floor can be easily converted to seat upwards of 250 at tables and with fully equipped kitchens, onsite cabaret stage shows are also catered for. Sound & lighting will be of excellent quality with Acoustic Engineers engaged to ensure sound quality is of the highest standard.

As exciting as all these things are, Victory Complex will also be a place of Worship & Prayer, a place where the name of Jesus will be proclaimed and His Gospel shared. The good news of Jesus is life changing, nothing compares to His love and the power of God to transform lives. Victory Complex will be committed to preparing individuals and teams to take the heart of Jesus to their local communities and to the nations.
